THE FUR SPA — SALON UPDATES

We have a few updates to share as The Fur Spa continues to grow. Thank you for your ongoing support, patience and trust in our team. Here's what you need to know.

OUR TEAM 🐾

Over the past year, we've taken the time to explore different options for growing our grooming team. We've decided that the best way forward is to continue developing our team internally, while maintaining the high standards of grooming and care that are so important to us.

We're very happy to share that Sherry is now with The Fur Spa full-time and working towards becoming a senior groomer!

Many of you will already know Sherry from her Friday shifts over the past year. She now assists with almost every stage of the grooming process, with finishing and scissor work being the next stage of her training.

Sherry brings incredible attention to detail, genuine care for every dog and plenty of fun to the salon. We're excited to support her development and see her continue to grow.

PRICING UPDATES

From 1 November, our grooming prices will be adjusted to better reflect the time, skill and care involved in each appointment, particularly for coats, styles and individual grooming needs that require additional time.

Most price adjustments will be between $10 and $20. Updated pricing will be available through our online booking system from 1 November.

Thank you for understanding and continuing to value the time and care we put into every groom.

FUR SPA REWARDS

We're simplifying our rewards program!

Instead of our previous points system, every sixth grooming visit will now earn your dog a complimentary Deluxe Spa upgrade.

Any rewards you've already earned under our previous system will still be honoured.

APPOINTMENTS AND GROOMING TIMES

Our latest available start time for a full groom will now be 2:30pm.

While Sherry continues to develop her grooming skills, some appointments may require up to three hours rather than our usual two, particularly during the afternoon.

If you need your dog ready by a particular time, we recommend booking a morning appointment wherever possible.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to invest in our team's development while ensuring every dog receives the time and care they deserve.

SATURDAYS AND PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

From 1 November, the following surcharges will apply:

Saturdays: $10 surcharge per appointment.
Queensland public holidays: 15% surcharge per appointment.
THANK YOU 🤍

Thank you for being part of The Fur Spa and for trusting us with your much-loved dogs. Your continued support means so much to us, and we're excited for this next chapter as we continue to grow.

Warmly,
The Fur Spa Team 🐾
